8-week Mindfulness Online Course Tuesdays 14th July – 1st September 19:00-21:00
Life today is presenting many challenges, not least isolation and financial stress.
Mindfulness could support your wellbeing right now. Mindfulness helps by developing awareness and changing how we relate to difficulty, leading to stress reduction, emotional regulation as well as better management of chronic pain and illness. On this Online Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction training you will learn:
Simple meditation practices & skills to help you be in the present moment & access your capacity for mindfulness
To cultivate greater awareness that can prevent you being caught up in unhelpful thoughts & feelings
Tools to give you greater mental clarity and therefore more choice
To distinguish between & understand: primary (unavoidable) stress & secondary stress (which we add by reacting to events).
To develop practical responses for challenging times
How to listen to and take greater care of yourself
For the 8-week course, participants will receive:
A welcome document
An 80+ page manual emailed in sections after each session
A minimum of 16 hours teacher contact
Downloadable guided meditation practices

Danny is passionate about the capacity for mindfulness to enable a kindly connection to our selves. He brings a friendly, non-judgmental nature to teaching and offers a safely held environment for learning about and practising mindfulness.
Danny trained to teach at the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at Bangor University where he is also continuing his studies with a Masters Degree in Mindfulness-Based Approaches. He is a registered teacher with the British Association of Mindfulness-Based Approaches (formerly UK Mindfulness Network)
