Have you ever wondered what yoga was about but never quite made it to a class, perhaps due to time, or maybe even because you felt a little nervous about taking that first step?
Have you been practising yoga for a while but want to go back to basics?
If you answered yes to either of these questions, then this is the course for you.
This 4-week course will introduce you to the basic principles of yoga, which will include providing grounding practices in some of the key yoga postures, breathing practices (Pranayama) and meditation.
Each week we will dive in and delve a little bit deeper, each class building on the previous one. After each class you will be provided with videos for you to practice with at home, to continue your own exploration at your own pace.
Paula will have a phone consultation with each student before the course begins so you will have the opportunity to ask any questions.
About Paula Paula’s first exploration into yoga was in 2006, and she has now been teaching for 5 years. She has explored many lineages and styles of yoga believing all have something special to offer. This has helped her tailor her practice to suit her body and enables her to encourage this exploration in her students. Paula believes that yoga benefits everyone so she teaches us how to listen to our body and develop a practice that works for us.
