Danny has been regularly practising meditation for over 20 years, the past 10 of which has been mindfulness-based. He is passionate about the capacity for mindfulness to enable a kindly connection to our true selves and believes we are all innately mindful – it’s simply a case of allowing it to be revealed through practice.
Danny is an assessed teacher with the British Association of Mindfulness-Based Approaches (formerly UK Mindfulness Network) and teaches 8-week mindfulness-based courses and individual sessions. He has completed several mindfulness courses including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Interpersonal Mindfulness and Mindful Self-Compassion. He is currently studying the 4th year of a Masters degree in Mindfulness-Based Approaches at the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice, Bangor University and regularly attends CPD trainings with The Mindfulness Network and Oxford Mindfulness Centre.
He brings a friendly and non-judgemental nature to teaching and offers a safely held environment for practising mindfulness meditation together, through which we are more able to meet and accept our experience just as it is whilst learning to respond rather than react. This can be particularly helpful when we are in pain or emotional difficulty.
Clients attending Danny’s courses/classes have said they feel grounded, calm, peaceful, strong, happy and open hearted, with greater perspective, stability and focus. He can provide testimonials from satisfied clients.
