Healing Wildfires – Aussie Aid Pop Up Event – 22nd February

On the afternoon of February 22nd the Secret Space is hosting a pop-up charity event – ‘Healing The Wildfires – Aussie Aid’ . We’ll be holding two yoga classes, a Kundalini yoga and chant session and offering a host of therapies, herbal teas and cake to help raise money for the Australia Bushfire Emergency.

This is a chance for us to connect to our collective consciousness, create a community and come together to send healing energy to the Earth in Australia and all those people and animals that have been affected by the devastation of the wildfires.

Why help? The World Wildlife Fund comments:

  • Australia is facing the most dangerous and catastrophic bushfires they have ever seen.
  • More than 10 million hectares have been burnt, and this number continues to climb. That’s the equivalent of 40% of the entire UK.
  • Lives, homes, and an estimated 1.25 billion animals have been affected, including 30% of the entire koala population in mid-north coast of New South Wales. These catastrophic megafires are worsening the extinction crisis we’re already facing

The Classes:

14:00-14:55  Flow Yoga and Deep Relaxation with Daniela and Elly

Energise and revitalise in a dynamic  flow class (Vinyasa Yoga) with Daniela followed by a deep  guided relaxation (Yoga Nidra) led by Elly to help you let go of any tensions

15:00-15:55  Hatha Yoga and Deep Relaxation with  Nikki and Claire

Stretch, breathe and have fun in an all-levels class with Nikki, followed by a wind-down and guided relaxation with Claire to soothe your afternoon .

16:00-16:45 Kundalini yoga & chant with Janey and Uma Amrita

Let your spirit soar and hearts sing with Kundalini moving meditations with mantra,  music and mudras. Connecting & sending healing vibrations to Australia

The Therapies:

Reiki:  A hands-on healing technique which can create a deep relaxation allowing the body to detoxify and release tension.

Holistic Facial: A pure deep tissue massage treatment with facial oil to release muscle tension, improve circulation, and help you reach a deep sense of tranquility
