Irene has been practicing yoga for over 20 years, attending her first yoga class when she was pregnant because she had heard that ‘yoga is good for you’. She trained with Yoga Professionals in London and continues her learning by regularly attending workshops with leading yoga teachers from varying traditions and backgrounds.
Irene’s classes focus on practicing poses and slow flows and always include time for reflection and relaxation. She teaches mindful yet strong classes, always happy to offer modifications and adaptations, and loves it when there are smiles in the room.
Her special interest is Yoga for Managing Stress as it allows her to combine her previous work as a stress counsellor with her love for yoga. Look out for her workshops.
