Lower Back and Hips Online Workshop with Elly – 23rd January
For many of us, modern life requires us to sit or stand for hours. There is a lack of mobility and a huge amount of downward pressure into the lower back and hips. Not surprisingly, lower back and hip problems are very prevalent amongst adults in our society.
This workshop is aimed at strengthening, mobilizing, releasing and stabilizing the lower back and the hips. With some targeted exercises and awareness of how to use your body intelligently, you can achieve greater wellbeing.
In this workshop you will learn:
Specific, targeted exercises that you will be able to practice safely at home
How use your body more intelligently in every day life to help maintain healthier hips and lower back. This will include some core strengthening work.
How to work with some of the key Yoga Asanas (postures) safely and with maximum benefit for your lower back and hips.
How to release tension in the lower back and hips.
This workshop is open to current Yoga practitioners but is also suitable for people who have never prcticed Yoga before.

Eliane is a British Wheel of Yoga teacher and a senior teacher with the Yoga Alliance uk, with over 12 years teaching experience. She is a passionate and versatile teacher and is dedicated to provide Yoga that is accessible to everyone. Her classes range from Ashtanga and Power yoga to gentle yoga and Yoga for people with social needs.
