On this Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) training you will learn:
Simple meditation practices & skills
To be more present to cultivate greater awareness, which prevents us getting caught up in unhelpful thoughts & feelings
To distinguish between & understand: primary (unavoidable) stress & secondary stress (which we add by reacting to difficult experiences)

The MBSR course was first developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn PhD in 1979, at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, to treat various chronic illnesses. Over 30 years of study, research has documented wide-ranging benefits:

Reduces the effect of psychological stress and increases emotional intelligence, i.e. the ability to deal with difficult emotions (such as anxiety and frustration)
