The Minded Yoga Therapy approach combines the worlds of yoga, Buddhism, neuroscience, and psychology, giving an integrative and practical approach to the empowerment of individuals facing life challenges and chronic health conditions.
Minded Yoga Therapy offers a way to manage anxiety and generalised anxiety disorders, uni- and bi-polar depression, stress, PTSD, physiological issues such as back pain and chronic headaches and high blood pressure and other conditions such as cancer, multiple sclerosis, dementia, Parkinson’s and Chronic fatigue Syndrome. Yoga therapy can also be a powerful complementary tool alongside all talking therapies, EMDR, acupuncture or myofascial release.
After a detailed and thorough consultation where your needs, your past/present medical history, and what you would like to achieve with Yoga Therapy will be discussed/assessed, a unique program of asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation will be used to best meet your requirements, this usually takes the form of around 6 weekly sessions, but depends of your personal needs.
Your Yoga Therapist’s priority is in ensuring you feel safe and that you are met exactly where you are. Yoga Therapy is a partnership between therapist and client, and your input, feedback and active participation are an absolutely integral part of the process to ensure you get the best out of your sessions.
As well as one to one sessions, our Yoga Therapist Becky Bieraugel, offers regular 8 week courses of Yoga Therapy for the Mind, details of which can be found here.

“I signed up for this course when I was trying to adjust to being retired and following a few health issues. I hoped that it would support my mental and physical well-being through this time of transition in my life. It absolutely met my expectations. The design of the sessions is so helpful, linking yoga practice with aspects of mental health. Becky delivers it in a very thoughtful, kind and engaging way. I would highly recommend it as a way to relax, reflect and gain physical and mental strength.”

“Becky was very responsive, responsible, well informed, supportive and empowering. I felt taken care of and cared for throughout at a time when I felt rather vulnerable. I learnt a lot about Yoga and I am confident it will continue to sustain me in the future. I now feel much more well and able to manage my difficulties which lead me to seek help. I would have no hesitation in recommending Becky to another person “
