Lisa - Yoga Teacher
I first came to yoga as a means to calm my ‘monkey mind’ which would often leaving me feeling quite anxious. My Saturday morning practice was the highlight of my week, and always left me feeling peaceful and energised too. When my husband and I were having difficulties trying to conceive, my yoga practice was a real sanctuary for me. After a successful round of IVF, I decided that as soon as I could I would train to teach yoga myself. My journey has really continued from there. I trained as a Reflexologist, specialising in fertility and pregnancy, and as soon as I was qualified to teach yoga, I trained in pregnancy and postnatal yoga.
I am passionate about wellbeing, holistic remedies and supporting women through their journey to conceive, pregnancy and beyond.
My pregnancy yoga classes are designed to bring mums-to-be together at a really special time, and to help them best prepare for labour and birth. To provide a relaxing and calm sanctuary to breathe and move, to connect with themselves and with their growing baby, and to nourish their mind and bodies. My classes always end with a guided relaxation.
I am also a Reiki Practitioner and HypnoBirthing Educator.
