Frequently Asked Questions
Do you provide mats and equipment for studio classes?
if you have one, then please bring your own mat with you for studio classes and a blanket. If you have your own equipment we suggest that in addition to a mat you bring all or some of these things: 2 blocks, 1 or 2 bricks, and a belt / strap.
We do have equipment to borrow if you don’t have your own.
Can I drop in on the day for a studio class?
Yes! Feel free to turn up and we’ll give you a place in the class as long as there’s room. You can pay on the day by card or cash. Of course, some classes in the evening and at weekends do get busy, so if you can, it’s best to pre-book for them. You can do this online or over the phone. If you’ve left it too late, and want to turn up without pre-booking, of course we’ll let you in if there’s space.
How do I access online classes?
Joining online classes is very easy. You will need to have a device that has a camera to join us. Once you have made your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the online class. Click here for detailed instructions and more information.
If I buy pre-paid classes or a package, how do I book classes?
Once you have bought your sessions, you can just go online and book into your class in the usual way, you’ll then receive the class confirmation link by email.
Do you offer help if I can’t afford to come to a class?
Yes, we believe yoga should be available to everyone, so our daytime Community Classes - are priced at from £5 on a sliding scale charge, so you can pay what you can afford. If you are in financial difficulty and can't afford to pay for the sessions please get in touch. info@thesecretspace.org.uk
What do I wear?
Please wear leggings, jogging bottoms or cycle shorts and a comfortable top or t-shirt. All the classes are done with bare feet. Here at the Secret Space we want everyone to feel comfortable, so out of respect to those who are not so keen on bare bits, we'd like to ask everyone coming to classes, whatever your gender, whatever the temperature, to wear a top please. Thanks for your understanding.
