Twenty years ago I tried my first Yoga class and after trying various different styles of Yoga, I knew I had found the right one for me when I started an Iyengar Yoga class. The attention to detail and systematic approach really appealed to me. I also loved the variation; every class was different. As time went on I also began to really appreciate the knowledge of my teacher and the corrections I received.
I completed my Iyengar teacher training with Sasha Perryman at the Cambridge Iyengar Yoga Institute and continue to attend classes and workshops with her and with my regular teacher, Lorna Taylor.
Regular practice of Yoga really helps me in all aspects of my everyday life. In my teaching, I hope to pass on the knowledge I have gained and continue to gain, as the beauty of Iyengar Yoga is that you continue to learn; it is a life long journey.
