Myofascial Yoga for Pain Management - 5 - week Course with Claire Sangster

Myofascial Yoga offers many options of movements and ways to connect in with yourself during your practice. This variety helps to give you choices for how to positively engage with your body, even on the days when something that feels like "exercise" feels too much.
One principle of this approach, which is the heart of all yoga, is to learn to hear when your body is saying “enough” and to listen, thus empowering our bodies to cease needing to scream at us with pain signals and tension, and instead allowing them to whisper to us, trusting we are going to pay attention. This building of relationship with our bodies leads to less pain, less tension, more stability, more strength, more freedom and more happiness in ourselves.
During the sessions you will partake in:
Gentle movement – with options for greater challenge
Mindful meditation
Pranayama (breathwork)
Myofascial rebounding
Myofascial unwinding
And self-treatment with myofascial treatment balls
This course is suitable for all abilities, with all teachings being offered in an invitational manner - meaning you don't have to do anything that doesn't feel right for you. In fact, you will be strongly encouraged, and regularly reminded to NOT do anything that doesn't feel right for you!
