Qigong for summer - 5 week course with Abbie

This course explores qigong for the fire element and the heart. The fire element represents the source of life force energy, expansion, openness, joy and love.
In this course we'll explore movement to unlock power and grace and be guided through calming meditations. Physically this course will open the chest, neck and upper back as well as improve balance.
When the fire element is in balance, we feel energised yet calm, we have a clear mind, we connect well with others and sleep soundly.
About Qigong.
Qigong is a practice which focuses on health, relaxation, energy and vitality. Often described as the art of effortless power, qigong is one of the five pillars of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Qi can be translated as vital life force energy while gong means to cultivate or work. Therefore qigong is a form of energy cultivation which includes forms (movement), visualisation, meditation and breathwork.
Qigong helps to restore balance in body-mind-spirit, and aids lubrication of joints, builds strength and stability.
