About Jo:
I made the leap from a professional career in development within a large organisation to launching a successful interiors business a decade ago. Alongside running my business, I have continued to nurture my passion for supporting others through voluntary work. This journey inspired me to complete a Certificate in Wellbeing Coaching accredited by the Institute of Personal Care and, more recently, earn an Undergraduate Certificate in Coaching from the University of Cambridge.
My studies and practical experience have reinforced my belief that we are the experts in our lives. By cultivating self-understanding, we make better-informed choices, identify areas for growth, and seek change for greater fulfilment. I provide a supportive and non-judgemental environment, allowing others to explore their thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and experiences in safety. My approach is creative and person-centred, encouraging others to take a holistic view of their lives and the aspects that shape their sense of self and overall wellbeing.
In my experience, coaching can help us uncover blockages that we were previously unable to see, explore conclusions we struggle to move past, and gain new perspectives. Group work can also connect us, allowing us to share thoughts and feelings we might feel isolated with and offer fresh insights from other perspectives.
In my work, I guide individuals to identify choices for a more balanced, resilient, and fulfilling life, whether they’re facing challenges or embracing new opportunities.
