Gua Sha Skincare and Wellbeing Workshop
with Dawn Dobson
Sunday 8th December
14:00-16:00
What is Gua Sha?
Gua Sha - pronounced gwashah - is an ancient Chinese technique meaning ‘to scrape’.
The Gua Sha tool is smooth and is swept across oiled skin in short or long strokes.
The benefits of this practice are:
Smoothes the skin
Increases blood circulation
Massages in the nutrients from the facial oil into the skin
Improves skin texture
Releases tension in facial muscles and the jaw
Opens up the sinuses
Smoothes fine lines and wrinkles
Plumps the skin creating glowing, radiant skin
Aids lymphatic drainage
Is super relaxing and calming
What to Expect:
During the workshop you will learn a 5-minute gua sha routine to do at home. Dawn will also demonstrate some key facial reflexology points to help with headaches and sinuses and show you how to use the gua sha on your forearms and hands.
Introducing Gua Sha into your skincare routine has quick results and helps maintain a radiant glow! It also helps release a tight jaw and soothes facial muscles.
This gorgeous workshop will leave you feeling, relaxed, nurtured and promotes good sleep! You’ll be sent home with a goody bag containing a gua sha and bamboo face cloth and you’ll get a video of the routine afterwards to follow along at home.
