Yoga Class FAQ's

With our new memberships and online classes, we thought you may have a few questions to ask. See below some of our most frequently asked questions.

How do I access online classes?

Joining online classes is very easy.   You will need to have a device that has a camera to join us.   Once you have made your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the online class.  Click here for detailed instructions and more information.

How do I purchase an Unlimited Online classes Monthly Membership?

Purchasing an Unlimited Online Monthly membership is quite straightforward. Either click on this link or go into your account, click on online store, then choose contracts at the top right of the page and then choose your prefered option. Follow the instuctions through the retail screen.

A little note- it is not possible to set up a contract using the Mndbody App.

If I buy the online membership, how do I access the classes?

Once you have your membership, you can just go online and book into your class in the usual way, you’ll then receive the class confirmation link by email.

What if I can’t get into the online class that I’ve booked?

If you are unable to access an online class that you’ve booked, just call us on 01992 503141 or 07946 513846

Can I use my old class bundle to access the new classes?

If you had a studio class bundle that was still active when we had to close the doors in March, please get in touch, and we’ll credit you with any unused classes you still have outstanding.

Online bundles will continue to be valid to their expiry date, so you can just go ahead and continue booking your classes.  They are no longer available to buy, but have been replaced by our new online membership option.

If I have a membership contract, when does the money come out every month?

The contract payment is automatically deducted from your credit or debit card on a monthly basis on an agreed date.

What measures are in place to keep us safe in studio classes?

We have reduced the number of places in studio classes to maintain a safe distance, and implemented strict hygiene and cleaning procedures.  See here for more information.

Can I drop in on the day for studio classes?

As the spaces are very limited, all studio classes need to be pre-booked and paid for in advance. 

What equipment do I need?

For the time being, please bring your own mat and props to studio classes.  

Of course, if you don’t have everything, or can’t manage to carry it all, your teacher will be able to improvise with the props that you do have.

For most classes you will need a mat, 2 blocks, a brick, a belt, a blanket and some water.

For Yin classes we also recommend a bolster or rolled up towel/rolled up blanket.

For Iyengar classes you will need 4 blocks and 2 bricks, a belt a blanket, and a bolster (if you can carry it!)

Do you sell equipment?

Yes, we have a small shop at the studio. Drop us a line or give us a call and we will arrange to have everything ready for you to collect when you next come in. Alternatively we can direct you to our favourite online suppliers.

Do you have changing rooms?

At the moment, our changing rooms have to stay closed.  Please come dressed for your class, and we’ll provide a box for you to store your outdoor clothing and bag.

Do I get my first class free?

Yes, if you’re new to the Secret Space, then your first online class is free!  Studio classes have very limited places, so at the moment, we are unable to offer them free.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations received less than 12 hours before the start time of a class will not be refunded or credited back to your account. If you have an Unlimited monthly pass and do not provide 12 hours cancellation notice, a charge equivalent to the class price will be added to your account.
