Yoga for Beginners - Term-time course with Jenny

Fridays 18:00-19:15

A course for the Yoga novice or a complete beginner, or those who have been out of practice and would like a refresher.

  • Would you like to learn the foundations of Yoga?

  • Would you like to gain enough confidence and experience to be able to attend a regular class?

  • Would you like to connect and practice with other beginner Yoga students?

 On this course you will:

  • Explore what Yoga is

  • Practice the fundamental Yoga Asanas (yoga postures) safely

  • Learn some basic breathing, relaxation and meditation techniques

  • Develop confidence in your asana and breathing practice.

  • Learn how to practice with an awareness of your own body’s needs (this is especially important if you have any injuries)

  • Learn some of the common Yoga and anatomy terms used by teachers

  • Gain an understanding of the different types of Yoga on offer and what suits you most

 About Jenny:

Jenny has been practicing yoga for over 25 years.   Over the years her practice has evolved and adapted to fit in with her life.

Now a qualified 500 hours BWY teacher and Reiki Level 1 she aims to teach yoga classes that are inclusive, supportive, and accessible for all. Jenny's classes are suitable for both beginners and long-term students alike.

What to bring

  • Everything you need to start with is here for you to borrow, but please bring a blanket for relaxation, and your own mat if you have one.

5 week course: £60

4 week course: £48

(£15 drop in is available for  students who have previously attended this course)
