Are you living with a long term respiratory condition?
Do you have seasonal asthma?
Or perhaps you are prone to chest infections?
If any of the above sound familiar to you or if you are interested in learning new ways of looking after your general respiratory health, then this course may be for you. The course is intended to give you tools that can sit alongside your regular treatment and medication.
Suitable for:
This course is suitable for everyone, you do not need any yoga experience to join. And if you have limited mobility, I will give you alternative physical yoga postures that will give you the same benefit.
What to expect:
Every week you will:
Learn and practice a new breathing technique
Learn and practice physical yoga postures specifically beneficial for the whole respiratory system
Learn and practice a small and manageable yoga sequence to take home and do in your own time
The Yoga & Your Respiratory Health course will give you a chance to (if you want) share how you are feeling about your condition, to chat about your day to day experiences over a cup of tea in a safe warm and welcoming space.
What to Bring:
Wear comfortable clothes that let you move freely
A notepad and pen/pencil
Yoga mats, blankets and blocks are available, but please bring your own if you have them
An extra cushion if you wish

The Yoga & Respiratory Health course is not a substitute for your regular medication
The course is intended to give you tools that can sit alongside with your regular medication
Do keep up with your respiratory appointments to manage your condition
Do not stop taking your regular medication
